I love the Main Street Electrical Parade. I saw it as a kid in the 70’s and it was so magical. The last time I saw it was a few years ago with my oldest and dearest friend. Shortly before it started, the lights dimmed and three elderly people rode past on scooters, decked out in glowing necklaces and waving glow sticks. I whispered to my friend “Wow, Disney’s really cut back on the parade this year.” And the two of us laughed so hard we cried. The show started shortly after and, of course, it was just as magical as I remembered.
